  7. Aladdin Systems currently provides InstallerMaker language modules for
  8. French, German, Spanish, Italian, Swedish and Japanese, and a template file
  9. containing the default English resources, called "English to Localize".  
  10. You can build installers using these resources as you see fit.   For best results, 
  11. we do recommend that you check your installers using the system software 
  12. of the appropriate country before you ship, to verify that your localized 
  13. installers look as you want.

  16. Creating Installers For Other Languages:

  19. As this is being written, Aladdin Systems is at work on support files for a
  20. number of other languages.  If you wish to localize your product installers
  21. in languages other than the six we now support, please contact Aladdin
  22. Systems Developer Technical Support, at (408) 761-6200, to see if the
  23. language you need is available.

  25. For localization languages that Aladdin cannot supply, you can create your
  26. own support files, by editing a copy of the "English to Localize" file with
  27. a suitable resource editor.  You may distribute these modified installers
  28. under the same conditions as any other product installer, even if you don't
  29. notify us.  We do encourage you to send modified files to us so we can
  30. correct problems with our current modules,  and we also encourage you to
  31. make your custom language modules available for other developers to use. 
  32. If you have modules you'd like us to make available to the developer
  33. community, just send them to us, and we'll post them on our on-line service
  34. forums.   And for assistance in creating your own language modules using
  35. the template file, please contact Aladdin Systems Developer Technical
  36. Support.  We have limited documentation available that can help you get
  37. your module complete and correct, and will supply it on request.
